Sundown Golf & Country Club

This upsate New York course sits on just over 71 rolling acers. Sundown Golf Course has enough variety of terrain to challenge the most advanced golfer. The tee boxes are elevated, and water comes into play on five holes. Parts of this course are wooded, while other areas are wide open. Some holes have stone walls lining their fairways. This course has well-manicured fairways and greens.

Par for the course is 34. From the back tees the course plays to 2,295 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 1,920 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 8, a par-4 that plays to 310 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 4, a par-3 that plays to 145 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 8, the 310 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 1, a 150 yard par-3.

This short nine hole course can be played as a double loop 18, par is 68 and 4605yards. Front and back nine tee placement.Men's white tee 2,295 yards for front nine with Blue tee 2,310 yards for the "back nine." Yellow tees measure 1,920 yards for "front nine" for ladies and Red tees 2,020 yards for ladies' "back nine". Total 3940 yards for lady par 68. Greens are well groomed and are small targets. Once on the green you will find putting will be the equalizer to a short course layout. A ttough little course.
